Dear Fellow Quilters:

I am so pleased to pass on the good news that our charity quilts which were assembled early in the year and distributed to Eastside Domestic Violence, raised nearly $2500 at auction. I can’t tell you how proud and pleased I am to know that these efforts translated into such an outpouring of charity. Just one quilt brought $2500 and the others were placed directly with victims and their families.

These efforts continuously remind me just what a wonderful community of quilters we have here. These wonderful ideas come from all of you while the shop just tries to make them all happen. One day I envision a foundation whereby we can continue to do this kind of work in our community. Thank you so much. The auction quilt was pieced by Bonnie Yourzak and quilted by Lynn Majidimehr of Woodinville. Nice job ladies.
