Friday, July 11th: Meet at Gathering Fabric
Quilt Shop at 8:30 am for continental breakfast and early bird
shopping. Door prizes will be awarded for all riders on our
bus.
9 am: Board
the bus and leave for Keizer, Oregon. Trip time is
approximately 4 hours. Bring a sack lunch for the bus. Water
and refreshments will be provided. We’ll stop for a
stretch and a break along the way.
We will be staying two nights at the
Renaissance, Wittenberg Inn in Keizer, Oregon, just north of
Salem on I-5. Continental breakfast is included each morning at
the Wittenberg. This hotel comes highly recommended by quilters
and is a featured hot spot by the Cotton Patch as seen on page
86 of Quilt Sampler Magazine, Spring/Summer 2007 issue. www.keizerrenaissanceinn.com
After hotel check in, we will re-board for
shopping at the Cotton Patch in Keizer, Oregon
Saturday, July 12th: Depart at 7:30 am for Sisters
on the bus. Arrive by 9 am
33rd Annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.
Over 1200 quilts will be displayed throughout the town. Weather
will be hot and dry. Expect 90-degree temperatures, which is
typical for the summers in Central Oregon. Bring a hat, water,

Leave promptly at 5 pm for Keizer and
the Wittenberg Inn
Arrive at 6:30. Dinner in Keizer on your own
Sunday, July 13th: Leave Keizer for return
trip home at 11 am
Shop at Fabric Depot in Portland. Lunch on
your own in Portland. Expected arrival time back to Woodinville
is 5 pm.
Please plan on getting dropped off and picked up for the trip,
if you can.

Something to work on or read for the bus rides
