The Rotary Quilt

The 2003 Rotary quilt is an exceptional creation in mixed techniques and community pride. The T-shirt designs were fused with webbing for durability and then pieced into blocks using bright colors of flannels. The blocks were then set into design showcasing the theme of hot rods and motorcycles· Using bright colors along with black enhanced the steel and chrome effect. This wonderful quilt was pieced together and quilted by Tina Sutherland of Duvall. Tina donated her time to make this quilt for the Woodinville Rotary Club for their annual auction to raise money for the new teen park adjacent to Woodinville High School. Gathering Fabric is pleased to be able to present this quilt to the community of Woodinville.
