Saturday Sampler 2005

Saturday Sampler 2005 will officially kick off on Saturday, January 8th with our first block from the book At Piece with Time: A Woman's Journey Stitched in Cloth. Follow along in the book as we will piece together the stories of our lives in our ever-popular Saturday Sampler series. (Saturday Sampler 2004,Undergound Raiload, can be found here.)

Participants will be celebrating the new series and picking up their blocks while enjoying refreshments, demonstrations and fellowship with other quilters. Our first block will be the childhood block called “Ring Around the Rosy.” Shop opens at 9:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

At Piece with Time is a stunning southern sampler from the authors, Kristin Steiner and Diane Frankenberger. Read about the journey, em-brace the applique and begin your journal as the authors have invited you to do. Visit the quilt on display in the shop while it is here on loan and come meet Kristen for a special author’s reception on Tuesday, April 5th, 2005.
