Gathering Fabric quilt shop has quilting supplies, quilt patterns and fabric to meet all of your quilting needs.

We recently received a letter from Kristen Steiner that we wanted to pass on to our quilters:
My congratulations to each and every quilter who took part in your Sampler. I would love to see pictures as I'm sure Diane would too. My deepest hope is that thru this experience, each woman is now further down the road to embracing her magnificent creative self. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your year.

Fondly,
Kristin

This quilt belongs to you. It is your beautiful life. It illuminates the story that only you can tell and only you will know. Rejoice in every piece of fabric you cut, cherish every moment you piece them together and reflect in every tiny stitch. In the end, you will have gathered together the many precious pieces of your life and have tenderly sewn them together. Beware, this quilt will make you smile with joy, cry in pain, close your eyes and grab your throat. Challenge yourself, let your creative arm go and see what your heart and hands dared to create. Let it be the best you have ever done. Embrace the applique, embroider a thought, a verse or an important name or date. Put it all into this quilt.

Now, please open your book and let us begin our journey together.

ATTENTION:

Hello Quilters,

We all know mistakes do happen. Publishers and quilters alike from time to time make mistakes. It has come to our attention that there are a couple of errata's in the book At Piece with Time. Please stop doing what you are doing right now and get a RED marker and mark up your book to note these corrections. We don't want anyone to be sad or frustrated.

page 67: When enlarging the applique to fit the Harvest bouquet triangles, the suggested 200% is too large. Try 195% or even 190% to make sure the applique will fit in the finished triangle measurements.

page 23: step 3 Incorrect to make 4, correct to make 8.

page 42 cutting recipe: incorrect A and AR, cut one 1 1/4, cut 1 1/2.

page 42 cutting recipe: incorrect B: 4 1/2, correct 4 1/4.

page 60 -61 Diamond Star: You should pay special attention the plus signs (+). In this block they make the difference between success and flop. The plus means to add a scant 1/16 to the 3 1/2 when you are cutting. Without that little bit extra, the block will pucker and won't lie flat.

page 72 cutting recipe, setting triangles: incorrect E: 11 1/4, correct 15 3/8. The yardage requirements on page 8 do provide enough fabric for cutting the larger squares.

Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.

Susan
