February 2008 Dear Shop Hoppers, Gathering Fabric Quilt Shop was not invited to participate in this 10th year of the Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop. We're just as disappointed as you... but due to a misunderstanding... we are not a participant this year. Just as we have done in the last five years we want to say that we are big supporters of shop hoppers and plan to be open for extended hours during the hopping event which takes place on June 18th-22, 2008. We're planning a pretty big party that you won't want to miss. We'll be rolling out the Red Carpet and will have give-aways and treats. As a non-participant we can't give you a block kit, but we are planning a "special something" to give you that has been especially designed by our shop as a way of saying thank you to our loyal supporters over the years. We know everyone loves the shop hop experience and we want to take this opportunity to let you know you are special here at Gathering Fabric Quilt Shop! Join us Friday, June 20th for a Fabric Fiesta beginning at 6pm for some good ole summertime fun. We plan to stay open late on this night before the Summer Solstice for shop hoppers on the road so you can shop non-stop. Our customers have asked us to please continue the shop hop bus trips -- so we will. Please check back for more information coming soon on bus trips and special events. Be sure to check out what we come up with for project ideas to coordinate with the theme fabric in yardage, fat quarters and patterns. We love to offer you exciting ideas as you gather your fabric. The Ninth Annual Western Washington Shop Hop will be held on June 20 - 24, 2007 (Wednesday - Saturday 9am-9pm, Sunday 10am - 5pm) at all 58 participating quilt shops.

Pick up a passport at any of the participating quilt shops in early June, mark your calendar and plan your route for the most exciting quilting event of the season in Washington state.
