You asked for more inspiration and pictures of the Woodinville Wine Country Quilt, also designed and created by Lynn Majidimehr of Woodinville, so here we offer you a chance to see the quilt in its entirely along with opportunities to view and purchase books, patterns and fabrics that represent our valley in Woodinville Wine Country. Woodinville Washington is home to 14 production wineries, award winning restaurants, lodges, nurseries and a "top ten quilt shop". We are also home to Martingale Press, home of That Patchwork Place quilt books. Our quilt shop offers several fabric collections with a wine country theme. Please take a moment to taste and enjoy the color, richness and designs on this page, which can be easily translated into a lovely wine country quilt. Lynn's quilt celebrates Woodinville Wine Country and won her "Best in Show" for our shops first anniversary quilt challenge in 2003. The quilt was pieced from a batik and leaf stash (says Lynn) and richly quilted with variegated threads in Lynn's signature free motion style. Notice the leaf motif in the quilting and the meandering stippling throughout the blocks. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do here.

Lynn is pictured here with her brand new "Wine Country Picnic" design. This particular quilt was donated to the Woodinville Rotary for their annual charity fund-raiser as part of Gathering Fabric Quilt Shop's continuing involvement in the local community. Patterns for this beatutiful quilt are available in the shop and will be available in the online store in the near future.
